Euroleague Basketball and the EuroLeague Head Coaches Board (EHCB) took advantage of the inaugural 2026 Euroleague SuperCup to meet and discuss opportunities for further collaboration between the League and the head coaches' association.
Euroleague Basketball President Dejan Bodiroga, CEO Chus Bueno and Chief Basketball Operations Officer Diego Guillen d'Arlot de Saint-Saud discussed with the EHCB delegation the details of the agreement recently signed by both organizations, which establishes the foundations for the development of the first comprehensive Framework Agreement with the head coaches' association.
EHCB President and current Dubai Basketball Head Coach Xavi Pascual, Vice President Sergio Scariolo and Executive Director Goran Sasic were updated on the latest developments across Euroleague Basketball, with a particular focus on the implementation of its strategic roadmap aimed at accelerating the long-term growth, value creation and global positioning of its competitions.
Together with the existing EuroLeague Framework Agreement with the EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA) and the agreement with the Union Euroleague Basketball Officials UEBO recently renewed, the agreement with the EHCB further strengthens the alignment between Euroleague Basketball and its key sporting stakeholders, including players, head coaches and officials, as the League enters its next phase of development.
