1. Who we are
The EuroLeague Head Coaches Board (“EHCB”, “we”, “us”) is a non-profit association representing head coaches of the EuroLeague and the broader international basketball coaching community. Contact us at privacy@headcoaches.academy.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), profile photo.
- Coaching profile: club affiliations, coaching history, certifications, public bio.
- Service data: Congress registrations, Academy applications, Practice Week selections, Video Platform interactions.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, app version (used for security and debugging).
- Communications: support requests, push-notification tokens.
3. How we use it
- To operate the EHCB platform and the services you sign up for.
- To verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- To send transactional notifications (registration confirmations, payment receipts, schedule changes).
- To improve our services through aggregated, non-identifying analytics.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of (a) your consent, (b) performance of the contract for the services you request, (c) our legitimate interest in operating the platform safely, and (d) compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax, payment-processor requirements).
5. Sharing
We share data only with: payment processors (when you pay for a service), email & push providers (to deliver messages you've asked for), hosting providers (to run the platform), and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal data.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on EU-based infrastructure. Passwords are hashed (bcrypt/argon2). Communication is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Backups are encrypted at rest.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, export, and delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for any optional processing. Use the in-app Privacy Settings, or email privacy@headcoaches.academy.

9. Children
The platform is intended for adult coaches. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Changes
When this policy materially changes we will notify active users by email and post the change date above.
